Skagit County, WA – Skagit County Public Health has updated their website today to reflect the Positive Cases of COVID-19 or Coronavirus in Skagit County. According to SkagitCounty.net, as of 4:23 p.m. on April 7th, 2020, Skagit County has one hundred sixty nine (169) positive cases of COVID-19. At least 23 people have been hospitalized and there have been five deaths reported in the county. According to Skagit County Public Health, 37 people have recovered from the virus. As of Yesterday, there were 161 positive cases in Skagit County.
Skagit County Public Health only tracks COVID-19 cases of Skagit County residents, to avoid duplication in reporting. Facilities in Skagit County may be caring for patients who are Positive from COVID-19 but are from another county.
