Seattle Man Dies in ATV Crash in Skagit County

Skagit County, WA – Local First Responders were called to a private property in the 10000 block of Wilson Road in Skagit County around 4:12 p.m on September 6th, 2020 for an ATV accident with CPR in Progress.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 69-year old Kirk Taylor of Seattle was driving a green 2017 Kawasaki ATV on private property when he is believed to have  suffered a medical emergency and drove the ATV into a large fence post where he was ejected from the ATV.

Several Local Fire Districts responded to the scene,  as well as Deputies from the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office and Troopers from the Washington State Patrol.  First responders attempted life saving measures,  including requesting a  Helicopter Air  Ambulance from Airlift Northwest.  Despite their efforts, Taylor died at the scene.

Next of Kin Notification was completed by the Skagit County Medical Examiner’s Office.
