Pedestrian Killed on I-5 in Early Morning Crash

Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Southbound I-5 near milepost 210 around 4:21 a.m. this morning.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol a 50-year old woman was traveling Southbound on Interstate Five just north of milepost 210 in a 2018 Hyundai when she struck a pedestrian walking in lane one prior to the offramp to exit 210.

The pedestrian, a male, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

The driver of the Hyundai was not injured and no charges are pending.

Dick’s Towing of Stanwood impounded the vehicle for safe keeping.
