Sedro Woolley Woman Airlifted After Crash on 3rd Street near High School

Sedro-Woolley, WA – The Washington State Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover crash in the 1200 block of 3rd Street near the Sedro-Woolley High School around 10:10 a.m. on Sunday December 18th, 2022.

According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 55-year-old Paulino A Herrera of Sedro-Woolley, was traveling Westbound on Jameson Street in a black 2005 Honda Pilot when he lost consciousness from drugs or alcohol. Troopers say after Herrera lost consciousness, his vehicle left the roadway, rolled through a fence and came to rest on its roof.  Local first responders arrived on scene and requested a medical helicopter respond to the scene to transport a passenger in the vehicle, identified by Troopers as 34-year old Jessica Reggiatore of Sedro-Woolley. The Medical chopper landed and transported Reggiatore to Providence Medical Center in Everett for Treatment.

Trooper say Herrera was not injured in the crash but was transported to United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley so he could be medically cleared for booking into the Skagit County Community Justice Center.

Troopers say drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. Both Occupants were reported to be wearing their seat belts. The cause remains under investigation.  The vehicle was totalled and impounded to the Washington State Patrol District 7 Bullpen as evidence.
