Birdsview SR 20 Collision

According to a WSP Press Memo, “following too close” was the cause of the collision in the 38000 block of SR 20, near Birdsview, just after 11:30am today, Thursday July 27th, 2023. No drugs/Alcohol were believed to be involved. The two vehicles involved were eastbound on state route 20. Vehicle two stopped to make a left turn, vehicle one struck vehicle two. Vehicle one was a tan 2003 Honda Accord, driven by Ryan Beazizo, age 35, of Concrete, Wa. Vehicle two was a 1996 suzuki motorcycle, driven by Franz Johnson, age 60, of Sedro-Woolley. The driver of vehicle two was transported to Harborview, he was wearing a helmet. The driver of vehicle one was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
