Patrol Car Collision-Whatcom County

Whatcom County: Washington State Patrol Trooper Patrick Williams, 27 of Arlington,  was involved in a motor vehicle accident on June 20th, 2014 in Whatcom County. According to the press release, Trooper Williams was Eastbound on Magnolia Street in a 2013 Chevrolet Caprice Patrol Car when a 1996 Buick regal, driven by 25 year old Heather Lambert, of Bellingham, was southbound on State Street. She  failed to stop at a red light and struck the marked patrol vehicle.  The cause of the accident was inattention by the 25 year old Buick Driver. An infraction was issued. The Patrol vehicle was towed to the Bellingham State Patrol office and the Buick was totaled/impounded to ASAP towing.  Neither driver was injured in the accident.
