Burlington Boulevard construction project update for the week of Sept. 1st

Construction Update:
Burlington, WA: Tiger Construction continues roadway work along Burlington Boulevard. For the week of September 1, roadway safety improvements include pouring new concrete sidewalks and pedestrian ramps at intersections between Gilkey Ave and Pease Rd. Beginning September 8 – 12 grinding/removal of existing pavement on Burlington Boulevard will occur in the same area. Expect major traffic delays.

Work will occur only between the hours of 6:30AM and 3:00 PM and roads will reopen to all traffic at the end of the work day. For safety, the speed limit has been temporarily reduced to 25mph. At times, one or more of the accesses into the Cascade Mall will be closed. Please use alternate routes to enter/exit the mall. Cascade Mall is open!

Additional intersection improvements and asphalt paving will occur along Burlington Boulevard through the month of September. This traffic project will improve mobility, safety, and reduce congestion along Burlington Boulevard. Tiger Construction and the City of Burlington thank you for your patience and request drivers use caution while driving through the work zone.
