Fatal Motorcycle Accident-NB I-5 Lynnwood

Lynnwood, Washington: The Washington State patrol responded to reports of a serious injury collision on I-5 Northbound at 164th around 7:40 AM this morning. Responding officers found that 65, Year old William Milne, of Kirkland had been Northbound I-5 just south of 164th St SE in lane 3 of 4, following a blue 1998 Toyota Corolla driven by 32 year old, Allan Tan of  Edmonds.  As the traffic was slowing in the area, the motorcycle struck the back left side of the Toyota Corolla. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and CPR was performed on scene. He was  transported to Providence Hospital Colby Campus where he was pronounced dead.  The motorcycle was impounded to Mary’s Towing and the Corolla was driven from the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
