Motorcycle/Car Injury Collision SR 167 at 24th Street: Pierce County

Pierce County, Washington: The Washington State Patrol responded to a Motorcycle Vs. Car injury Collision around 11:10 am this morning on State Route 167 near  24th Street.  According to the press release, Vehicle one, a Black 2003 Harley Davidson, driven by Mark Dombrosky, 56, of Tacoma, Washington was Northbound State Route 167 at 24th street.  Vehicle #2, a Black 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by 39 year old, Jason Soto of Puyallup, Washington was also Northbound State Route 167 at 24th street. Vehicle two slowed for traffic and vehicle one struck vehicle two. The rider of Vehicle one was ejected from the motorcycle and transported to St. Josephs Hospital.  The motorcycle was impounded to the Tacoma Washington State Patrol Bullpen. The Jeep was driven from the scene. The cause is under investigation and it is unknown if charges will be filed.
