La Conner – Boating enthusiasts will have a chance to see the latest advances in boat designs, accessories and services when the Port of Skagit’s La Conner Marina presents its 2014 Boat Show and Open House this weekend.
Ten La Conner Marina tenants will participate in the show, which will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3 and 4, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.
Boats will be on display on G and L docks; displays will be in The Commons area next to the marina office, 613 N. Second St. Boat builders American Tugs and La Conner Maritime Services will host open houses, and Mavrik Marine will be available for scheduled tours. Boater’s Discount Center, La Conner Yacht Sales and Design Techniques Canvas and Upholstery will host open store fronts. Also participating are Huskey & Co., Marine Systems NW, the Swinomish Yacht Club and La Conner Marine Landing Fuel Services, which will discount its fuel prices by 10 cents per gallon during the hours of the show. The La Conner Kiwanis Club will offer food and refreshments.
