Snohomish County, Washington: October 31st, 2014. 3:49 pm. The Washington State Patrol responded to an injury collision on East State Route 204 at Sunnyside Blvd.

Arriving troopers found a blue 1988 Chevrolet Pickup driven by Mark Watson, 54 of Everett, Wa had been traveling Westbound on SR204 near Sunnyside Blvd when the vehicle crossed into the Eastbound Lanes.

In the Eastbound Lanes was  A white, 2000 Kenworth Dump Truck pulling a 2000 Sturdy 3-Axle Dump Trailer driven by Terry parker, 47 of Tulalip, WA.  Mr. Parker tried to avoid the collision by swerving to the right, but the Chevrolet pickup struck the left side of the dump truck. The dump truck came to rest on the right shoulder of the Eastbound Lanes.

According to the WSP press memo, both drivers were injured and transported to the Colby Campus of Providence Hospital. The Chevrolet pickup was impounded to Skips Towing and the Dump truck was towed by the trucking company.

The Cause of the accident is listed as Over the center line and charges are pending against the driver of the Chevrolet Truck.
