MVC: Highway 20 at Northgate Drive

December 26th, 2014. 3:41 pm: The Washington State Patrol responded to a serious injury collision on SR 20 near Northgate Drive.

According to the press memo, Lawrence Parks, 54, of Oak Harbor  was Southbound on SR20 in a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado when he crossed the center line and struck a 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Sheri Frisch, 44, of Oak Harbor. She  was stopped at the intersection on Northgate Drive facing Westbound at SR20.

Mr Parks was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center. His vehicle was impounded to Christians Towing.

Mrs Frisch was not injured and her vehicle was driven from the scene.

The cause of the accident is listed as over the center line. No charges were pending. Drugs or alcohol were not suspected in the accident.
