Rancho Grande II Robbed in Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon, WA:   The Mount Vernon Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery this morning around 9 am at 2412 East College Way at Rancho Grande II.

The Business owner was robbed by 3 juveniles who were armed with a knife and possibly a gun. They also stole the owners cell phone during the robbery.

Several Witnesses saw the juveniles run from the scene. They were described as possibly being middle school aged.

Laventure Middle School was placed on a precautionary  lock-down while officers looked for the suspects.

The suspects are described as 3 Hispanic males. All wearing dark hoodies. One has the logo “Cali Life” on the Front in White Lettering. Two of the suspects have short hair.   Initially the  third male was confused as possibly being a female by witnesses due to his long curly hair.

Police were able to get photos of the suspects from Surveillance cameras.  A Police K-9 were brought in to track the suspects as well.
