Updated: Fatal Collision on South Skagit Highway

Update: 4:15 pm. Trooper Mark Francis Says a male has died as the result of this collision. 

Day Creek, WA: The Day Creek Fire Department and Clear Lake Fire Department responded to a serious injury accident on the South Skagit Highway at Old Day Creek Road just after 12:40 pm today.  Medic 1 and Medic 2 also responded.

Arriving Medic unit found two patients. One was conscious, one was unconscious.

Arriving Medics Initiated CPR while  en route to Skagit Valley Hospital.

Trooper Francis, says alcohol is possibly involved in the accident.

 

This is an ongoing investigation and traffic investigators are  still working the scene as of 3:30 pm.
