Sedro Woolley, WA:  Firefighters from the Sedro Woolley Fire Department responded to a commercial structure fire at 1862 SR20 at the Skagit Motel at 8:29 am.

Sedro Woolley Police arrived on scene at 8:32 am and reported heavy smoke and flames from a room in the hotel.

While en route, Sedro Woolley Firefighters requested a 2nd alarm for Fire in a Building.

Sedro Woolley Officers requested Aid for a subject with smoke inhalation.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control quickly and the fire appears to have caused fire damage to one room and  smoke  damaged to several rooms.

A witness I spoke to said everyone  made it out of the fire okay.

The Red Cross and a support officer were called to the scene to help displaced residents.
