Snohomish County, Washington. On June 22nd, 2015, around 8:30 pm, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a body floating face down in the water of Ebey Slough.
The following morning, Members of the Snohomish County Search and Rescue responded and located a body in the water in the 600 block of Sunnyside Boulevard near Lake Stevens.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiners office has identified the body as that of 22 year old, Stephanie S. Kensinger of Everson, Washington in Whatcom County. (Her Facebook page says she lived in Bellevue, Washington.)
Her death is considered suspicious and homicide detectives have been investigating the case.
A July 3rd, 2015 press release from the Snohomish County Medical examiner said “The cause and manner of death are under investigation.”
Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman, Shari Ireton, said the case remains under investigation.
Friends of Stephanie have been posting their condolences on her Facebook Page.
According to her Facebook page, she was an aspiring model and completed several model shoots in 2011.
Her Facebook page also states that she was previously a student at The Bellingham Beauty School where she studied cosmetology.
