Okanogan, WA: July 24th, 2015. 3:35 pm. The Washington State Patrol responded to a serious injury crash on State Route 20, near milepost 187 in Okanogan County. This area is 5 miles West of Winthrop.
According to the press memo, 42 year old, Andrew Wyman, of Oak Harbor, Washington was Westbound on State Route 20 in a Blue 2007 Toyota Tundra Truck when the vehicle crossed the Eastbound Lanes, went off the roadway, struck a tree, continued on and struck another tree, then struck a shed. The vehicle continued on and went through a barn and then a barbed-wire fence, finally coming to rest in a pasture.
The driver was airlifted to Confluence Health Center and then Airlifted to Harboview Medical Center in Seattle. His current condition is unknown at this time.
The Press memo states the driver was wearing a seat belt and drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the accident.
The vehicle was impounded for safe keeping by Classic Towing.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are under investigation.
