SKAGIT COUNTY – Skagit County planners will host four workshops at which County residents are invited to help shape the future of their communities.

The County is conducting a review and update of its comprehensive plan and development regulations “to ensure consistency with local conditions, state laws, and population and employment projections for the next 20 years.”

The County must complete a comprehensive plan update by June 30, 2016.

The first 30 minutes of each workshop will be in “open house” format. Sessions are scheduled from 5:30 – 8 p.m. on September 22, October 8, October 27 and November 10.

The September 22 session will be held at Fidalgo Elementary School in Anacortes. The following sessions will be held in Concrete, Big Lake and Edison, respectively.
