Sedro Woolley Woman Reports Theft of Items

Sedro Woolley, WA-  On September 19th, 2015, the Sedro Woolley Police Department responded to reports from a resident  that a person known to her had taken a large list of items from her home without her permission.

A list of items included an expensive Thomas Kincaid Painting ($2500), a Bissel Upright Vacuum ($125), Keurig Coffe Machine ($200), Hp Laptop and accessories ($480), Craftsman Lawnmower ($240), Radiator Heater ($100), Shop Vac ($100), Poulan Chainsaw ($150), Pressure Washer ($300), Troybuilt weedeater ($185), gold chains  with charms ($150).

The woman believed a friend had  stole the above items and pawned them to possibly purchase Heroin.   The woman also reported that her Fred Meyer Credit Card and her Skagit Farmers Supply account  had been used without her permission.

Officers with the Sedro Woolley Police Department quickly located several of the items at Pawn Shops in Sedro Woolley and Mount Vernon.

Later on the same day, Officers located the suspect, Ronald Eppers, walking down North Murdock street and placed him into custody. Officers found a drug kit in the subjects backpack which the suspect admitted was Heroin.   The suspect also admitted to stealing and pawning the Thomas Kincaid Painting, the Craftsman Lawnmower, the Laptop and a couple of old wedding rings so he could buy beer, cigarettes and sometimes Heroin.   The suspect also admitted to using atleast one of the stolen credit cards.

The Suspect was transported to the Skagit County Jail for an investigative hold for Theft in the 2nd degree, Trafficking in stolen property 1st degree and Violation of the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act (VUSCA).

The suspect has since been released from the Skagit County Jail. His next court appearance for his charges  is at 8:30 am on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015  in Sedro Woolley.
