This afternoon, (01/05/16), Detectives served search warrants at residences in Burlington and Sedro Woolley for evidence and the individuals alleged to be involved in the assault.
A 16-year old juvenile male from Sedro Woolley was taken into custody and will be booked into the Skagit County Juvenile Detention Center for Investigation of First Degree Assault.
The second juvenile is known to police but has not been contacted yet.
Lt. Chris Cammock said “We appreciate all the assistance from bus passengers, witnesses at the Transit Station and SKAT employees who were quick to assist police. It’s obvious that those using our transit system resources are unwilling to see this type of behavior go unaccounted for.”
