The family of Anna Mae Rose  Ulrich, who are from Sedro Woolley, provided SkagitBreaking.com with an update on the case of the  14- month  old  that was murdered on December 14th 2013 while in California.   They say that Mr. Dolan agreed to change his plea from Not  Guilty to Guilty  yesterday and accept responsibility for the death of Anna Mae in 2013.  The family will not have to sit through  a jury trial in the case because of the Guilty Plea as well.

A spokesman for the family, Carol Ann Herring wrote ” To all our family and friends and followers of Anna’s Memorial Facebook Page.   Today (Jan 27th) we went to court for Anna Mae Rose Ulrich.

Zebariah Dolan changed his plea to guilty. He is getting 15 years to life for murder in the second degree.  He’s getting 6 years for child abuse that caused death.  A total of 21 years to life, he’s done 2 years so he has 19 years before his first chance of a parole hearing.

He doesn’t get good time credit while in prison. Although this is not justice in my opinion, it is the best we could get!! We want to thank everyone for your support, love and prayers. We have one more court date, March 9th at 1:30 for the sentencing and our chance to speak to the court and him and say our piece.”
