Small Plane Crashes Into Lake Samish

Whatcom County, WA– Breaking new this morning out of Whatcom County.  A small experimental plane has crashed into Lake Samish.

Witnesses on scene report the pilot was able to safely exit the plane and use parts of the plane to paddle to shore.  He was also wearing a life vest according to multiple witnesses.
