Witnesses in the neighborhood, said  It appears someone continued North from the 1100 block of Franklin Street, running  through a fence and large Boulder, before the vehicle careened down the embankment, over the retaining wall, knocking down the basketball hoop, dislodging the natural stone bench, shattering the picnic table, and  completely destroying the merry-go-round playground equipment.  The crash also left an oil streak throughout the park.
