Bellingham, Washington- The Washington State Patrol responded to a two car crash on Everson Goshen Road at East Kelly Road around 10:05 Pm on June 26th, 2016.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, Christopher Freas, 49 of Bellingham was traveling Westbound on East Kelly Road in a 2003 Dodge Stratus Four door when he failed to stop at the stop sign at Everson Goshen Road when he struck a Northbound 2005 Ford 500 being driven by 53 year old Kenneth Klander of Richland. Mr. Klander was injured and transported to St. Josephs Hospital in Bellingham.
A passenger in his vehicle, 54 year old Robert White of Bellingham was injured and transported to St. Josephs Hospital in Bellingham.
The causing driver was injured and booked into the Whatcom County Jail on suspicion of Vehicular Assault and driving under the influence.
ASAP Towing and Hortons Towing Responded and transported both vehicles to the Washington State Patrol Bullpen for further investigation.
