South Whidbey Fire Responds to Plane Crash

Whidbey Island, Washington– South Whidbey Fire and Rescue crews responded to reports of an aircraft down around 3:15 pm on Saturday July 16th, 2016 at the Whidbey Airpark near Langley.

According to a release from South Whidbey Fire and Rescue, the incident occurred during the landing of the small aircraft and  it flipped over.

Arriving Fire Units found a small plane upside down and the pilot, who received non-critical injuries was transported to the Whidbey Health for further Treatment.

No additional Information was available on the crash.
