Lincoln County, Washington- The Washington State Patrol responded to a rollover crash on West State Route 28 near mile post 124, 5 miles North of Harrington around 6:08 pm on August 1st, 2016.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, 18-year old Aaron Quinene of Sedro Woolley was driving a gold 1993 Honda Accord Westbound State Route 28 near mile post 124 when he swerved to miss a deer, over-corrected and rolled his vehicle. The press memo states he was critically injured and transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center. It was unknown if he was wearing a seat belt but drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
Three Passengers, William Enniss 18, of Sedro-Woolley, Mason Chavez, 18 of Sedro-Woolley and 17-year old Jesse Ortiz of Sedro-Woolley were all injured and transported to Davenport Hospital for treatment. The press memo states none of the passengers were wearing seat belts.
The Honda was totaled and impounded for safe keeping by APB Towing.
The cause of the crash is listed as deer in roadway and charges are pending against the driver for driving without a license and no insurance.
