Mount Vernon, WA- The Mount Vernon Police Department responded to a Bank Robbery around 11:48 am on September 9th, 2016.
Lt. Greg Booth told SkagitBreaking.com that a white male entered the Key Bank located at 212 E. College Way and approached a teller and demanded money. No weapon was used and no one was injured during the robbery incident.

The male suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of money and was last seen walking through the parking lot southeast from the bank.
Patrol Officers were quick to respond and checked the parking lots and adjacent businesses, but did not locate the suspect.
The bank was temporarily closed while investigators processed the scene. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Mount Vernon Police Department Investigators, as the bank is federally insured.
The Suspect is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, short dark brown hair. He is believed to be around 6′ O” tall with a Slender Build. He was last seen wearing jeans, brown/tan plaid button down shirt, black zipper jacket, glasses and white/neon running shoes. A photo of the suspect captured on security footage is included below.
