Kyler Parker (aka Kyler Vallejo)  was allegedly shot in the neck on December 15th, 2016 by 16-year old rival gang member Austin Gonzales after Parkers  vehicle broke down on North Laventure Road in Mount Vernon.

Officer Mike “Mick” McClaughry was later shot in the head during an investigation into the shooting of Kyler Parker (aka Kyler Vallejo) by 44-year old gang member  Ernesto “Neto” Rivas outside a home on North Laventure Road in Mount Vernon.

Both suspects  and a third juvenile, 15-year old gang member Roberto Lopez Jr engaged in an hours long stand-off with Police Officers after the shooting of Officer McClaughry.
