Lyman, WA – Puget Sound Energy has a planned power outage scheduled for this weekend in the  Lyman/Hamilton area.

According to a release from Puget Sound Energy, they need to temporarily shut off power  while they complete maintenance work to upgrade electrical equipment on the electric substation that serves the Lyman/Hamilton area.

The scheduled  outage will occur starting around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16th and continue until around 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17th, 2017.   Residents in the area should prepare for the power to be shut off for approximately 10 hours.

Crews from Potelco and Puget Sound Energy will be working within the substation and the immediate surrounding areas of Cabin Creek Road, South of State Route 20.

Puget Sound Energy says they are committed to completing the work safely and efficiently, and their crews will do their best to reduce the impacts to nearby neighbors, but as part of this work and for the safety of the crews, they need to temporarily shut off the power overnight.
