Samish Island, WA – The Skagit County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a reported stabbing around 3:59 p.m. on July 14th, 2017 in the 7600 block of Wharf Road on Samish Island.
Arriving deputies found an adult male that had reportedly been stabbed by his son.
Firefighters and Medics from Skagit County Fire District 5 responded to the scene to provide emergency medical care but the man had already died from his injuries.
Skagit County Sheriff’s Deputies took a suspect on scene into Custody and he is currently being held in the Skagit County Jail on an Investigative hold for Murder 1st Degree.
This is an ongoing homicide investigation and more information will be released by the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office when it becomes available to the public.
