Body of Missing Bellingham Woman Found

Bellingham, WA – The remains of a missing Bellingham woman were recovered in Whatcom County on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017.

33-Year old Ashly Boyd was reported missing on November 1st, 2017 by her family.  Since that time, Deputies from the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office had been assisting with searching for Ashly and her family had launched a large-scale social media awareness campaign to generate tips and leads on her whereabouts.  Unfortunately,  the family was notified Wednesday that Ashly’s remains had been found the previous day.

Patrick Lee and Ashly’s Mother, Debbie Boyd, released the following statement online:   “We are sorry to report that Ashly Boyd’s body was found last Tuesday on the 5th by an overpass on I-5 and Bakerview Drive, Bellingham, WA 98225. Autopsy concluded she had expired from exposure to the elements around the first week of November. Thank You for you(r) help. Keep up the Great work. GOD BLESS.”  -Patrick Macintosh & Debbie Boyd. 

The Family asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they process the tragic incident.  They also wanted to Thank everybody that took the time to share their posts in order to find Ashly.
