WSP Recovers Jewelry Believed Stolen In Thefts

Everett, WA – Washington State Patrol Trooper Darryl Tolen and  his K-9 Partner,  Trooper  Kobe, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a modified exhaust system  in Everett, WA  on January 26th, 2018.

The driver was initially placed in custody by Trooper Tolen for failing to provide identification when requested.  A search of the drivers person after he was  placed in custody found several counterfeit bills in the pockets of the male driver.   The driver consented for his vehicle to be further searched. During the search, Trooper Tolen located a large amount of Heroin, Methamphetamine, Pills and a firearm.  The firearm was later confirmed to be stolen.

Trooper Tolen also found a large amount of Jewelry and watches in the vehicle. Some of the jewelry items have distinctive markings with lead Troopers to believe they are possibly stolen.
