Mount Vernon-Conway Youth Baseball Seeking Volunteers for Upcoming Cal Ripken Baseball Tournament

Mount Vernon-Conway Youth Baseball (MVCYB) is hosting the 2018 Cal Ripken Washington State Tournament for the 9U and 10U divisions on July 5-8. They are anticipating over 20 teams from around the state. This is a great benefit to the league and the community. Local businesses will see an influx of business as they are expecting approximately 1,000 visitors to our community. They are in need of many volunteers to make the tournament a success.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

• Concession stand- This is our largest need. No special skill set required!
• Official book- must have the basics in baseball scorekeeping
• Pitch count- count pitches for home and away team pitchers
• Field prep- before and after games- rake infield, chalking foul lines and batter’s box
