Skagit County, WA– Skagit County and the City of Burlington have released a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking qualified developer-operator partners who can finance, develop, build and run an affordable housing project for veterans.
Through the RFP, the County will provide $500,000 in grant or forgivable loan capital funding and Burlington will provide siting and permitting support. The American Legion Memorial Post 91, at 721 E. Fairhaven Avenue, has offered its site as a location for this project, but use of the site is not mandatory.
Letters of Interest are due by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22nd, 2018.
Completed Proposals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21st, 2018. The proposals may be submitted in person or by mail to Kayla Schott-Bresler at 700 S. Second Street #301, Mount Vernon, WA 98273 or you can email the proposal to kaylasb@co.skagit.wa.us.
