Skagit Speedway Racers and Fans to Giveaway 200 Bikes on Saturday, August 24th

Alger, WA – On Saturday, August 24th, 2019, Skagit Speedway will host their first ever, Bicycle Extravaganza for Children ages 2 years old to 12 years old during the races!

In a news release from Skagit Speedway, they write, “As we near the end of the 65th Season at Skagit Speedway, we want to ensure children continue to play outside and enjoy the same atmosphere we offer here at the speedway.”

The Bicycle Extravaganza started with a  goal of fifty (50) bicycles, but has grown to  over two hundred (200) bicycles. All the bicycles were donated by Race Car Drivers, Sponsors, Businesses, Employees of the Speedway and Fans!

The Gates to the Speedway  open at 5:30 p.m. Racing Starts at 7:00 p.m.  The Bicycle giveaway will take place at approximately 8:00 p.m.

How will the giveaway work?  Each child will get a special ticket when they come into the gates. All the bicycles will be on display through the heat races. After the heat races, kids will come down and drop their ticket into a bucket at  the bicycle they want.  Sponsors of the bicycles will then draw one winner from each bicycle until they are all gone!

Tickets to Skagit Speedway Round #21 are $14.00 for adults, $12.00 for Junior, Senior and Military Guests, Kids 10 & under are Free. A family pass (2 adults and 4 kids) can be purchased for $39.00. Tickets can be pre-purchased at the Cook Road Shell Station. The Nights  Events include 360 Sprint Cars, Sportsman Sprint Cars, Modifieds, Outlaw Tuners, and a Dual Track Bonus Race.
