This weeks Saturday Streaming Spotlight goes to Savanna Woods, the front woman for the Pacific Northwest Indie rock bands Waking Maya and The Wood Sisters. You may have seen her videos on a weekly FaceBook feed called Wandering Wednesday. This feed precedes the current streaming fad long before the COVID shut down …. in other words, Savanna Woods is a pioneer of the PNW music streaming trend on Facebook. Wandering Wednesday’s combines Savanna’s love of traveling with her love of music …. each video was shot on location at exotic locales such as Iceland, Rome, Edinburgh and outside the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. This Saturday she will be performing her own songs, as well as covers, on Saturday, April 11th from her home at sunset. “Sunset Session with Savanna” is a must see.
