Sedro-Woolley, WA – The Sedro-Woolley Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call about a stolen vehicle with a 2-year-old child sleeping inside around 11:53 p.m. on January 28th, 2022.
According to the Sedro Woolley Police Department Facebook Page, Sedro-Woolley Officers responded downtown for reports of a stolen Dark Blue or Purple 2005 Scion. The reporting party told Officers that their 2-year-old Child had been asleep in the vehicle when it was stolen.
Sedro-Woolley Police were assisted in their search for the stolen vehicle and child by Officers from the Burlington Police Department, Deputies from the Skagit and Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office and Troopers from the Washington State Patrol.
The vehicle was located within the hour and the child was found unharmed and was reunited with family. Detectives continue to investigate the case.
