OSO, Washington- According to two press releases from Shari Ireton, director of communications for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have located the vehicle driven by the two men suspected of murdering a couple from Arlington.

The red 2007 Volkswagen EOS Coupe was located yesterday near the 3700 block of W Caron St in Phoenix, Arizona. New information obtained through the investigation indicates that 53 year-old John Blaine Reed and his brother, 49 year-old Tony Clyde Reed, are now in possession of a 2002 Gold Acura 32T (Arizona plate BNN-9968). A plate reader hit on this license plate near Calexico, California yesterday, April 18th, 2016. The vehicle pictured below is a similar vehicle, the brothers are said to be driving.

Similar Vehicle
The exact location of the Reed brothers is unknown, but there is reason to believe they may be trying to flee to Mexico.

Sheriff’s Office detectives are working with the Phoenix Police Department homicide unit and US Marshals in locating the Reeds.

If seen, please do not approach the Reed brothers. Both men are convicted felons and are believed to be armed and dangerous.
Back in Washington State, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for the bodies of 45 year-old Patrick Shunn and his wife, 46 year-old Monique Patenaude.

According to Shari Ireton, the director of Communications for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, At least 25 sheriff’s deputies and volunteers and one dog are searching a 23+ square mile area around the victim’s residence, near the 27800 block of Whitman Rd.
Units in the area include man trackers from Search and Rescue (SAR) and SWAT, a SAR swift water team, a SAR human remains detection dog team, the Helicopter Rescue Team (HRT) in SnoHAWK1, and the SAR operations support unit. Ground teams will search areas off nearby roads and spur roads, wooded areas and waterways, and the Helicopter Rescue Team (HRT) will search the area by air.
